Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation's (CMHC) monthly housing reports including Regina and Saskatoon. Housing start statistics coincide with building permits approval as an indication of construction activity.

The Government of Saskatchewan released a strategy that involves the entire housing sector and promotes a housing environment where all Saskatchewan people have access to homes that enhance their well-being, build local communities and contribute to a growing province. 

The Monthly Economic Indicators Report (MEIR) offers an in-depth look at a wide range of indicators associated with Saskatchewan's economic performance. Using the most recent data available, the MEIR presents short-term and long-term trends in economic growth, labour market performance, commodity prices, production and exports, investment and construction, as well as general economic indicators like wholesale and retail trade, the consumer price index, average weekly earnings, etc.

This report outlines 25 performance indicators used to monitor Saskatchewan's competitiveness and economic progress over time and in relation to the other provinces and Canada as a whole.

Municipal and provincial planning and development websites. These authorities provide tools and services to assist municipalities with community planning and development.

The "Planning for Growth" program provides an opportunity for groups of communities to demonstrate the value of: partnerships and collaboration; the economic, social, and environmental opportunities across a region; the benefit of developing and implementing a strategy, agreement or plan for growth; and, the value of developing professional planning capacity in support of short and long term objectives for economic growth. 

The $1.1 million Planning for Growth (PFG) program seeks to enhance regional planning capacity and establish best practices facilitating sustainable growth and development across the province.

Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency's (SAMA) annual confirmed municipal assessment roll reports. Property assessment reflects growth to the property assessment roll for property tax purposes after new construction is completed.

The Community Growth Tool Kit is a do-it-yourself economic development and urban planning guide to help Saskatchewan's smaller communities benefit from the province's increasing population by enhancing their planning and development processes.
